Trip cancellation insurance reimburses you for non-refundable air and land costs if you have to cancel a trip due to personal or family illness or accident. The insurance that we recommend also provides coverage for all pre-existing conditions if you complete your insurance form and postmark it within seven calendar days of our receipt of your deposit. We highly recommend that you obtain this insurance.
We suggest Travel Guard International; there are two ways to purchase your insurance from Travel Guard. MTT is happy to book your airfare. Unless otherwise notated all advertised offers are for land only and do not include international airfare. We will offer you airfare that best coincides with your land or cruise tour schedule. Airline ticketing fees may appear as a separate charge on your credit card. Quoted airfare rates are subject to change until paid in full. Assigned seating may be limited and may not be available on every flight or departure date. Since most airlines now charge for assigned seats, there may be supplements in additional to the quoted airfare to confirm assigned seats. Air schedules may be subject to change at the discretion of the airline. MTT does not accept liability in the case of any passenger being denied boarding by any airline carrier due to the carriers overbooking of a flight.
Instant purchase non-refundable airfare requires full payment at the time of booking. Once a ticket is issued, there can be no fluctuation in price due to an increase in government taxes or in airline fuel surcharges. We recommend purchasing optional travel insurance at the same time so that your non-refundable airfare may be covered if you cancel your trip for a covered reason. Upon payment, tickets will be issued immediately (during normal business hours) and once issued, are non-refundable. Once tickets are purchased, some airlines may allow for changes to the ticket and specific fee's and allowances vary by the airline. All tickets include a Mission Travel Tours administration fee, which hold no airline reissue value. The administration fees are not refundable under any circumstances.

Every effort will be made to operate tours as planned, but alterations may occur after the final itinerary has been issued. In such a case if cancelations are made we ask that our valued clients recognize that there are expenses, including unrecoverable third-party deposits, that MTT may not recoup as the planned date of a trip approaches and as a result, a 100% refund is not always possible. However, we are making every effort to recover, for the benefit our travelers, as many of those expenses as we are able.

Any adjustment considered will be based on the actual price of the services involved and not on a per diem basis. Adjustments will not be made for unused sightseeing trips or meals. MTT will not accept any liability for any claims that are not received within 30 days of the termination of your travel experience. Meeting and ending locations are listed on each of the individual trip pages in the catalog, as well as in your pre-departure information. For some tours, it may be preferable to arrive at the starting point the night prior to the trip departure date. We will be happy to provide you with instructions on how to contact the hotels yourself or to make these reservations for you. If you elect to have MTT make these reservations for you, the hotels require that we provide them with a credit card number to hold these reservations or, on rare occasions, to send them payment in advance of arrival. We will advise you of specific hotel payment policies.
Trip prices are based on two people per room. If you are traveling alone, we will assign you a roommate of the same gender, or you can choose to room alone, paying the single supplement. If you choose to be paired with a roommate and we are unable to pair you, we will invoice you for the single supplement 60 days prior to the trip. If we are subsequently able to find you a roommate, we will gladly refund the single supplement.
