Finding the trip

This safari starts in Arusha, you will fly into Kilimanjaro Airport and one of Mission Travel Tours English speaking representative will warmly greet you and transport you to your amazing lodge. Your first day on safari will take you to Lake Manyara, here you will experience a local village and witness an awesome display of wild birds and possibly see some tree climbing lions. After the visit to the village, you will go on your first afternoon game drive, get your cameras ready because your safari adventure just got real.
The Serengeti National Park
The next day you travel to the world-famous Serengeti National Park, famed for its annual migration, when some six million hooves pound the open plains, as more than 200,000 zebra and 300,000 Thomson's gazelle join the wildebeest's trek for fresh grazing. Yet even when the migration is quiet, the Serengeti offers arguably the most scintillating game-viewing in Africa which include: great herds of buffalo, elephant and giraffe, and thousands upon thousands of eland, topi, kongoni, impala, and Grant's gazelle. Golden-maned lion prides feast on the abundance of plain grazers. Solitary leopards haunt the acacia trees lining the Seronera River, while high densities of cheetahs prowl the southeastern plains.
There is more to Serengeti than large mammals. There are over 500 species of birds, and your guide will also introduce you to the small five'. In addition to a wide variety of mammals, over 300 species of birdlife have been recorded in this park. For the next couple of days, Your Serengeti morning and afternoon game drives will create memories of a lifetime.
The Ngorongoro Crater
Your next adventure during this tour will take you to Ngorongoro Crater. This crater is 2000 ft. deep and is considered to be the 8th wonder of the world. Ngorongoro Crater is the largest intact caldera in the world with an abundance of wildlife permanently resident on the crater floor. You will also stop by the Olduvai Gorge, which is the site of archeological findings that has traces of pre-historic man dating back to 3.5 million years ago. You will visit the on-site museum and witness a panoramic view of the historical excavation site.
After a day or so exploring the wildlife of Ngorongoro Crater your off to Tarangire National Park. The name Tarangire is derived from the Tarangire River which provides permanent water for wildlife. In addition to a wide variety of mammals, over 300 species of birdlife have been recorded in this park. This adventure will take you on both morning and afternoon game drives.
